Mission 2024 @Kenya , Jan 14 - 31
Greetings in the name of our Lord, the light of the world,

The LAMPS has installed solar power systems to enable the use of electricity at four local churches in a remote region of Kenya, about 12-hour-long drive away from Nairobi, the capital city.
Providing electricity in these places which have so far been out of technology’s reach will allow Missionary Ahn’s work to expand in numerous ways including medical service, evening Bible studies and worship for children and adults, and invigorated collaboration and interaction between Missionary Ahn and the locals.

An example of the Lamps' missions.
Three churches (Hurara, Dalu, Madunguni) in southeastern Kenya have been installed with solar power in January 2019
The solar power made it possible for churches to light electric lights at night, the “Friday Night Prayer Movement “began.
As a result, the number of new believers has increased significantly through the prayer movement, leading to expansion of the church and amazing church revival.

Kenya STM-2024
The Lamps and Olive church in Korea have prepared for the new mission from January 14th to January 31st, 2024 to install solar power systems at four churches in the faraway Kenyan communities. While each team member covers his own airfare and other individual expenses, we were aiming to raise $9,000 for other cost of travel and materials based on the following plan.

When we will go: January 14, 2024 - January 31, 2024

What we need: $9,000 (excluding expenses covered by the team members)
$4,800: Materials ($1,200) for 4 churches
$4,200: rental car, room and board (17days and 16 Nights, 4 sites and other 2 churches for worship)
